Hi,
My NC29 will only start when in neutral, this is a problem because I want to be able to bump start the bike.
How can I bypass this cut out?
The bike is going on a trackday so I shall remove the side stand and cable.
Thanks,

I cant remember if it'll start with the clutch in or not whilst in gear but disconnecting the switch alltogether will probably not do any good at all

It will start with the clutch in or out as long as it is in neutral.
I want the option of starting it with rollers (as a backup)
I'll take another look.
Thanks.

Do you have a wiring diagram? Trace the line the electricity can take with each safety switch in whatever position.vr46 wrote:It will start with the clutch in or out as long as it is in neutral.

It sounds to me like you bike has the clutch switch faulty. Will it continue to run in gear with the kickstand down? Could also be the kickstand switch, but my money is on the clutch switch. Just bridge the two wires with a paperclip and report back.

Hi all, sorted it.
Some wiring was needed to make the bike think the stand was up all the time. Thx.

Just remember it's there, like all us tri-arm owners do.
