Yeah the only common size of slicks we can get are 165's, fit fine but it does change the tyre profile somewhat. TBH I've never noticed a difference. Only ever used them in races, the extra grip of the slick gives me a lot more confidence, even though most of it is probably just in my head...skinnydog0_0 wrote:Does teh bike turn/change direction faster with the 165?

Yeah I realise that, but they work fine on the stock 4.5" rim. I've never had a problem with the feel, in fact I reckon the extra grip makes the bike feel sublime through corners.fourfingers wrote:@Cammo
165 slicks are designed for 5.50" rims, or at least dunlops KR108s, KR364 intermediates 5", KR244 wets 5.50". But all of them are can be fitted in 5" to 5,50" (as per dunlops fitment guide).
