Rear shock removal
To remove the rear shock do you have to fully slacken the preload or is this not necessary.
If it is neccessary do you require a c spanner to do it?

No need to adjust the preload but removing the exhaust does make life easier although its possible with it still fitted.

got mine out without touching preload nor the exhaust. an abba stand is a godsend for this job.

Cheers gents luckily I already have the exhaust, rear subfamre etc removed so that should make it easier. I'm glad that you don't need to slacken it to remove that saves me a job.
