Rear shock removal

To remove the rear shock do you have to fully slacken the preload or is this not necessary.

If it is neccessary do you require a c spanner to do it?

No need to adjust the preload but removing the exhaust does make life easier although its possible with it still fitted.

Cheers gents luckily I already have the exhaust, rear subfamre etc removed so that should make it easier. I'm glad that you don't need to slacken it to remove that saves me a job.

Thanks for the advise
