Re: My NC30 Projects!!
mate i think the cans might be sitting out a little too far.
have you tried spacing the hangers off the subframe with nuts behind them to help clear the seat unit ?
or
mounting the can strap on the underside of the hanger bracket to give a further 5mm room ?
as Jas says the can's just about clear the indicators but if your going to run '89 spec slimline jobbies you should have plenty of room.

Yeah ive tried both, but they will not clear the indicators, even the slimmer ones thats why i had to make some small brackets.
Once i get the correct seat unit on it and start putting the fairings on i will have another look at it. But at the moment without the tabs the seat unit rests on the exhaust hangers and jams against the indicators.
But im off to Malta tomorrow for 2 weeks so a fresh look at it when i get home and im sure it will be easy!!

Re: My NC30 Projects!!
they look the ticket mate.
you asked for cooment so here goes :
what colour are you doing your front indicator housings, black is going to stick out too much, have you thought of red ( like some models of NSR ) couple that with some nice fresh amber lens' and they would blend into the bodywork really well.
paint the inside of the fairiings black, satin of matt, there is nothing worse that seeing a lover fresh paint job and seeing all the overspray on the inside, a pet hate you could say.
any chance you could maybe stick them on a bike for a sneek peek ......

Re: My NC30 Projects!!
Agree with Royster about making the insides of the fairings matt black but diagree about the indicators. They always look shit when painted, I'd leave them as they are.
