exhaust clamp

Post by 1990nc30 »

Hi, i've just fitted a new system on my bike (cut system) and have put a blue flame can on, my problem is that were the adapter slides over the system(adaptor attached to can obviously) it move round and is very loose, so when i go out for rides i find the can has moved round and is melting my number plate!
My question is were can i get a clamp to go round the adaptor/top of system to secure the can in place? The clamp i would need would have a dimension of up to 205mm.
Also i wouldn't mind seing how you lot have attached race cans on without any 'looseness'
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Cheers.

If you've got the correct 'strap' it shouldn't move and should be held tight.

Have you got both ends of the strap touching each other or either side of the exhaust hanger?

Try both together, that should tighten it up and should hold it better.
