how crap will the front end feel if the front wheel aint balanced?

ride it and find out .. sometimes its unnoticeable, sometimes you'll get a vibration at a certain speed ..

Hi mate, my front wheel aint balanced and it rides fine, but as zimm says, it vibrates a little like when i'm going over a ton.

Most, and I say "most" new modern tires are very close to being balanced from the factory. Generally if you line up the green dot with the vavle stem you'll be in the ball park. I change, mount, and balance my own tires and have never had much of a problem. I've done 15-20 trackdays this way and never felt a vibration or any other tire problem. Make sure to check the rim without the tire first to see how far off it is from being balanced. On the other hand, if your tire was mounted and balanced on a tire machine and you are feeling a bad vibration you might want to get it checked out.

o rite, cheers for the replies.

well my front end feels soooooooo heavy,

if id screwed the fork adjuster all the way in, could this make it feel very heavy?
ill mess with it tomorro as its raining now :(
