What is this ?

Hi,

I'm again ask strange questions. What is this ? It looks like gear indicator, but it has 7 lights. Maybe this is battery indication?

But we have 6 gears, this indicator has 7 lights.

like the indicators you see n F1 cars - telling you your optimum time to change gear

Cool. So, if all lights is on, you need to switch to highest gear. Correct?

I presume the first light can be set to light up at a certain rpm and then the rest follow perhaps up to 14.5rpm showing when to change up to the next gear..

Yes, but bike not moving and as you can see on tachometer engine is stopped. Why there is 4 lights on ?

Not sure, possibly setting it up? or maybe all the lights shine up in sequence when you start the bike?

It's a shift-i, an Aussie made bit of gear.

Good stuff, plenty of setup options.

it was fitted about 20secs before that photo and was in the process of getting set up for the bike .
