Bike meets in the Gloucestershire area

Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

Bike meets in the Gloucestershire area

Post by Pat »

Just wondering if anybody knows of any bike meets that happen in the Gloucestershire area, mainly near glos and chelt, on a weekly basis or even just one offs?

I organised and lead ride-out for last weekend (19th April) around the Brecon Beacons. Was an awesome day, had nearly 30 bikes attending for bacon rolls at my house before we left and did from my house to finish line in Hereford it was 150 miles. A good day and some excellent roads. had lots of people coming from cheltenham/gloucester/bristol/stroud way and they all convoyed to the starting place. Perhaps next time I organise one I will let you all know on here so you can join in.
Next plan is Abergavenny to Aberystwyth on a fine summers day, i did that on Monday and it was awesome! 360 miles I covered with a friend who came up from stroud. great day and will certainly be doing that one again!

Sounds good hamster!

Are you doing anything for 2010?

Be great to meet some other 400cc riders!

Cheers

I'm doing some trackdays this year and probably have space in the van for 1 more if any interest.
Go to some of the bike nights as well, but either the weather is crappy or a thousand people turn up, sadly there tends to be a few twats amongst the people out for a good night.

I dont think i will be organising anymore events with my 400, (I crashed it last night on the way to work..) but I am intending to buy a Hayabusa in March and will be doing some good rides and tours on that, so once ive got sorted and am in the mood for something i'll give you a shout!
