RVF400 at local Sprint Event - pics

Post by al_hrc »

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd share some pics of me on my RVF at the local Sprints a few weeks back here in Jersey.

Good giggle, and not the ideal bike to ride at a Sprint. But enjoyable day with the boys in the Sun going down a public road as fast as i can!

Enjoy

Aidan

Not that great,

It's a quarter mile sprint, but unlike others its got a big curve in the middle of it.

Best last year was 13.52. This time I got a 13.98 i think! It was nice to get the bike out, as I haven't used it since last year. I wanted to make sure my new quickshifter worked before my trackdays at the beginning of May.

If you can get over the cheesy music and embarrasing editing from an Eastern European rider over here, this video clip gives you some idea of what its like

Very mate,

All the above with addition of Ethos 1/2 system, Standard engine and just fitted a Techtronics quickshifter. Rear shock is a Maxton item to.

It was a few years ago that I got them but the Maxton Front fork fondling was £250 and the rear shock was £440 (but I got 20% off due to the reservoir arriving with a small scratch on it). I also got the VAT off the parts being in Jersey.

There may well be cheaper available, but their service was second to none.
