Check out Tony Sleeps article,
http://tonysleep.co.uk/gsxr400carbs" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Altho he calls the pilot screw an idle screw.
If you need o'rings i supply full set.

Located at the bottom of the carbs. Generally 1.5 turns out.

Uncrew it all the way out to remove - there should be:- 1 washer, 1 rubber o ring, 1 spring, 1 screw.

There are 4 external to the carbs, no washer, no o-rings, just a steel needle with a screw head thats 1

the rest are inside the carb :

there is one in the carbs with a hex head with a smaller screw inside it, with a tiny hole - the needle has 8 holes in its side... - thats no 2 ?

there is one way down deep in a hole right of the hex head - thats 3 ?

and there is one screw which has a hole it into the left which makes 4 ?

what are they all please ? lol..

Image number 4 in this picture is the pilot screw, the only one which can be set at different settings, The rest should be screwed in tightly. This screw is located centrally at the bottom of the carbs in front of the float bowl and can be adjusted with the float bowl on. Theres one on each carb. The rest of the things are jets not screws anyway.

LOl bloody pikeys giving you a bike with missing parts. Im banditmax from btf by the way. Im guessing robinsons foundry will be your best bet for the springs/washers. Or maybe fowlups.

lo mike

fancy seeing you here lol...

I'll nip into fowlups and get some bowl gaskets and the needles springs etc.. assuming they are not order only.

sort of annoyed that its missing.. but then it might explain why he could not get the thing running off the starter :mrgreen:

which hopefully means i'll be on two wheels a bit quicker :twisted:
