Nearly done - Updated

Post by challymo »

As some of you may know I have been doing quite a bit of work to my bike the last few months and though I would post up the pics I have so far up. I will say now though there aren't really any during pictures just start, midway and nearly done. If you could all see what you think and give some feedback it would be appreciated (Note: these fairings are not staying they have been temporarily fitted).

Something along these lines or possibly the black and grey original paint scheme on either standard shape or endurance style fairings.

Final plans are -

1. Adjustable rearsets
2. New fairings
3. Crash protectors
4. Digi dash
5. SP1 style exhaust (possibly)

And lastly the reason i've been able to do this -

thats looks real sweet, some nice extra bits you added. Are those rvf forks with different adjusters and whats your thought on the Nitron shock?

Yeh it's the RVF forks with anodised adjusters obtained from Riley on this site. As for the Nitron shock i've gotta say it is brilliant i love the feedback it provides.

Just got it back from Mike at BMC, (again brilliant work, and great service Highly recommended) And the ride home was brilliant, Suspension now being sorted it held to the road brilliantly even in the wet, the power felt great, Urgent but not violent. Got a few brilliant overtakes (nearly hit the rev limiter aswell :poke: ). Even got approving nods from two police bikers I passed on the way back  .

Anyway I'll shut up now and give you all some pictures,

The new exhaust has pushed the power up to a respectable 62.7 bhp, and quite a nice delivery on it.

Anyway what does everyone think?
Will be getting some new bodywork hopefully this week which will be nice.

looks good mate!

I quite like the last paint design you have up there - with the blue flashes.

the new plastics - will they already be painted when you get them?
