KOSO RXIN and Acumen Shift Gear Indicator

I have purchased a KOSO RX1N Multifunction Meter (not yet installed) and I'm plannning to put an Acumen Shift Gear Indicator to its system. Does anyone ever tried installing this Acumen Shift Gear Indicator from an upgraded speedo/tacho of CBR or from any liter bikes?
