yes they do improve braking.no need to change master cylinder.
rick oliver mounting kit.
you do need to get made a set of braided lines with nc30 top banjos and cbr lower banjos.

Re: cbr600rr/sp1 calipers on nc30?
I would disagree with RP on the need to change the m/c.
The std will be squidgy and does not give the feel , IMO, that using the correct m/c for the job gives you.
I have the CBR6 black calipers and used them with the std m/c for a few weeks and while it worked, and they are powerful it is totally crap compared to the proper m/c.
I bought a very good nick fireblade m/c and lever with res etc - the full shabang for only a tenner on ebay and so the bargains are out there and well worth it.
Agree with RP that it is worth every penny though so if you are going to do it..then do it right

The m/c is easy to fit - just take your old one off...bolt you new one on and bleed the rbakes (as you need new lines for the calipers too)
Any of the blade/SP1 and CBR6rr or FX will do the job - just check that the bike you want the calpiers from has the same castings as your bike - big and ridged.
get a look at some on the bay and post on here to let us have a look!

Re: cbr600rr/sp1 calipers on nc30?
Second and third calipers are the right ones. the first are the same as std RVF calipers and no use to you.
You also find that the RRX or RRW ones are for 310mm discs...and so on good. Think it is 99 and 2000 models..
SP1 are gold, blade silver and CBR600FX black < like mine.
I got mine for £30 posted with new pads in them...would not pay £80 for them...
