Re: supercharged nc30
Never seen it done, and would not probaly try.
I have seen a VFR800 with a 'charger kit on a USA foruim. very cool.
Not sure you would have the room for it in the NC..
Please feel free to prove me wrong :D

It's a nice thought, but looking at the long list of broken rods and cranks that g-force have with their high powered motors I'd be betting the standard internals wouldn't cope with forced induction.

hiya,

but aren't they chasing more revs, if it was blown it wouldn't have to rev as hard. But i think space, finding one small enough and getting drive to it would big challenges, it would prob be easier to to buy a cbr6.............lol..........Stickshift wrote:It's a nice thought, but looking at the long list of broken rods and cranks that g-force have with their high powered motors I'd be betting the standard internals wouldn't cope with forced induction.

Not sure, I doubt the bored/stroked 400's would rev much past 13,500 depending on internals.Morespeedvicar wrote: but aren't they chasing more revs, if it was blown it wouldn't have to rev as hard.
Supercharging a carbed bike is a daft idea, if it was fuel injected it would be a much easier and worthwhile proposition.
Check out the installation on this vfr800 - neat!

Buy a SV650 or any bigger bike.
Plus you dont need to go faster than 130mph any way
