Gaskets for Yammoto half system

Post by Drunkn Munky »

For those that have fitted yammoto systems is there meant to ba a gasket to join the system to the standard front pipes?
I brought some new gaskets before i recieved the system but upon fitting the yammoto system slides neatly over the standard downpipes without the gaskets.
So what are you guys using? a bit of exhaust paste or just nothing?

I never used anything, but it's probably best to use something like a silicon sealant to do the trick.

For all the interference fit pipes I used nothing at all to seal the pipes.

You could always fit it and see what blowby you get and seal it if it looks bad?

You won't need anything for the Yamamoto system, it fits fine just as it is.
