tyre and profile question
Hi all,
With the sad demise of the BT090, I wondered what tyres people are running on the CBR400?
I have an NC23 on 17 inch front/back rims. Previously I ran BT090 120/60 r17 55h on the front and a 150/60 r17 66h on the rear. Mostly for fast road and trackdays. They were great on track and amazing in the rain.
I'm looking for some advice as I'm not sure what a change in profile would mean for the handling:
Bridgetone S23 in 120/70 front 160/60 rear is the closest option I can find sticking with bridgstone but means changing the profile. How would this change the bikes handling?
I can get the original (120/60 and 150/60) profile in Metzeler M7RRs and the Diablo Rosso 4s. The Metzelers are cheaper of course and the Pierellis are super expensive.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
