CB400SF NC39 - Exhaust Options & Recommendations?
Hi everyone,
Just picked up a lovely CB400SF NC39 (the hyper VTEC version!) and I'm already thinking about exhaust upgrades. The stock exhaust is a bit quiet for my liking, and I'm looking for something with a bit more character and a slightly louder (but not obnoxious) sound.
I've been doing some research online, but there are so many different options available: full systems, slip-ons, different brands... it's a bit overwhelming!
Has anyone here upgraded their NC39 exhaust? If so, I'd love to hear your recommendations. What brand/model did you go with? How was the installation? Did you need to remap the fueling? And most importantly, how does it sound?
I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience with the following brands (but open to any suggestions!):
* Yoshimura
* Akrapovic
* Delkevic
* Beet Japan
Also, any advice on whether to go for a full system or just a slip-on would be greatly appreciated. I'm not looking for massive power gains, just a better sound and a slightly sportier look.
Thanks in advance for your help!.
