Newbee alert! 1989 VFR400R Guidance to sell....
Hi there,
My other half has tasked me with selling her 1989 VRF400R 23k km! It's been off the road since 2012 based in Suffolk, but last started 2 years ago been sitting in a shed over the most part of the last 12 years now outside under cover.
Looking for guidance on how best to approach the sale?
When it was SORNed off road there was nothing wrong with it at all and rode perfectly. There are minor scratches and a little off white colour on one of the panels below the seat.
Would it be best to stick a new battery on, try and start it and stick it in for an MOT and see what it fails on (if anything), or sell it as is?
