Speedo De-restrictor Resistor

Can anybody confirm that this is indeed the 2k Resistor required to bypass the Speedo Restiction?

From the info I have you should be using a 2.2k ohm resistor which has the colour bands:

red, red, red, gold

Hmmmm ok. In the guide posted in the resource section it states 2k. Thanks for the reply Ronin.

2k or 2.2k, makes no difference.
