Getting to know my 1988 NC23
After passing my A2 this Thursday just gone and insuring and taxing the bike I finally got out on my CBR after 3 months away from riding
The feeling and sound of the bike immense! It has a DIC or DIG? endcan that is not on the quiet sound..... Anyway I am pretty sure the has had some engine work done as you roll the throttle in 6th at 4k revs and it pulls like an absolute train! (Keeps up easy with my mates Daytona 675
) Already had the fairings repaired and painted at a cost of £580..... Anyway the bike looks mint and I'm looking forward to many summers and trips :D

Great to see your enjoying your bike. Pulling like a train is something i used to say, sadly im more used to my bike nowadays so dont tend to notice it as much, but back then it was like wow! Not that its changed of course but nowadays i tend to think of how smooth the bike is.
Yes i believe its a DIC can but have only seen an odd picture or two of those cans.
Get some picture up so we can appreciate your bike.

DIC,made by Daishin Racing if i remember correctly. An end can is nice but the all aluminum full system is the real deal.Loud and very light, i came across one of these fitted on a GK71F listed for parts the other day. Post some pictures when you get the chance.
