PHEW! BIKES not included T-charge zone in London
I was reading about this new T charge zone in London that is going to start in London.
I very relieved to find that motorcycles are not included in the T charge zone started by Sadiq khan and his office.
The T charge zone will start on the 23 October 2017 and will affect cars that are from 2005 and before.
Also in the list includes "Euro 3 for quadricycles or motorised tricycles (motorcycles are not subject to the Emissions Surcharge)"
This is the link https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/emissi ... ge-checker
But the ULEZ Emission scheme is going to affect my CBR 400 in the year 2020 October, which sadly they are thinking of starting it from 2019. Its a shame I came into bikes so late and was born in the early 90s

Re: PHEW! BIKES not included T-charge zone in London
Thats the thing about living 'Up North' we dont get these sort of silly ideas, thank goodness. Although one day our old bikes maybe subject to mileage restrictions or similar, now that would not surprise me.
Looking at Royal Jordanians YouTube channel recent vid gives an idea of the silly choke points put into practice making driving harder in London. A couple of years ago a perfectly serviceable dual carriage way where i live, has had its lanes severally restricted to one lane and speed reduced to 30 from 40, now that once free flowing road is a nightmare, it is done on purpose for sure. Im still not getting the bus :p

I dont really mind taking the bus. I take the train most of the time when going to university (which I have now finished), because I cant be bothered to ride in traffic, I much prefer to be lazy and just sit on a train...which London underground service is really good.
its really unlucky and sad that bikes are included in this ULEZ Emission shit. I care about the environment but my cbr 400 does 55 mpg lollll

The 2020 ULEZ deadline is a good target...for me to have moved out of London (and perhaps the country)!
Ciao,
