Rear brake...

Post by hondahaha »

I've just completed my bike and tbh I'm not happy with the rear brake although it passed the mot.I really need to stand on it to get it to work. The bike had been abused and also it has rear sets,so I'm guessing perhaps both of these factors may influence it's performance.
How good or bad are they normally,I've replaced the pads and serviced the caliper, should I give it time or should it be good from the off?
Thanks.

Went back to standard and the difference is massive...I think the rear sets would be good but as they're so adjustable it can take time to get them right and tbh I'm not a fan of them...they're going on Ebay...

So everything is good now yea? with your rear brakes?

I need help with one issue please....my front brake pads seem to be touching my disc too much.

Is there any way to create a bigger gap between the disc and the pads.....

PLEASE HELP

When you say too much do you mean binding? If so then a service will fix that normally it did for me.
