Hi! My MC22...

Post by lilredmachine »

Hi there, first post. My name is Ben, AKA Lilredmachine. I have owned this CBR250rr on and off (spent a spell with my sister and her boyfriend as well) for quite a few years.

It is a rather clean example with 36,000 km on the clock, a rather high quality paint job on the original fairings and has been taken care of by every owner rather than primarily being owned by Billy Crashesfirstbikealots. I have done numerous bits and bobs but mainly kept it nice, including sourcing a NOS set of headers from Honda Japan. Really enjoy riding this thing and the relative lack of go is offset by the banshee wail and the lightness of it all. This is coming from someone with a 210rwhp turbo bandit, an unrezzed Hayabusa and a GSX600f with a bandit 12 motor shoehorned in, so I like my go.

I also have an NC30 is bits in the corner of my workshop so I'm here to prod for information!

Can't say I've really kept an eye on the market regards these 250s, does anyone have any idea what this would be worth these days? I picked it up for 1250 about 5 years ago...

Very nice looking, sadly its worth about 50p so I might be generous in the circumstances, offer a quid and loan you the trailer money to get it to my house ;) Have you seen the vids on youtube from the Australian guys? they rave about them.

Really? How do you know? I have had mine for a couple of years, and it is all original, in great nick and has less than 18k km on its odometer. I paid around £2,300 for it from a private seller. (It's not for sale!)
