Cbr600rr rear shock
So, I just fitted a cbr600rr rear shock to my nc29.
The cbr600rr shock was the same length give or take 2mm.
The only mod needed was to grind a notch in the linkage to clear the lower adjuster and rotate the top of the shock 180 degrees to give some clearance for the top adjuster.
Only slight issue is the hose for the reservoir is very close to the fuel tap, so at some point I'll have top get the shock regased and turn the hose banjo 90 degrees to clear it properly.
I'll put a link up to some pics but I can't get on bikepics.com at the moment.

Re: Cbr600rr rear shock
I did what you did, and yes the fuel line looped over the reservoir line, it's a big improvement but compression ramps up a lot at the end of the stroke. Ill be fitting a Nitron in the next few months.
