Good evening everyone. I am stuck with a big issue. I have a 1989 vfr nc24 and it dies on a freeway of a long road. Then as soon as i come to a stop. She starts up again after a swing or 2 but sometimes i have to sit and wait. Everything is fine(oil, sparkplugs ect) Can anyone mabey tell me what the problem is and the best possible solution to fixing it. Thanks Ruan

The vacuum pipe on your fuel tap might need replacing or the fuel tank breather might be blocked.

Yup, sounds like vacuum pipe to the fuel tap. If it is the original it will almost certainly be perishing.

Diaphragm split in the fuel tap. My nc24 had the exact same symptoms when I bought it in 1992!

as above i think the others have already nailed it.
common failure is old vaccum pipe going hard and brittle.
pull the vaccum hose and stretch it a little, itll probably break off near the engine block where it conncets.
fuel tap diaphram can split too but the vacuumn line is more common
