Is this normal? NC30
So... when I give the bike throttle it gasps for air before the revs go up, if I quickly give it throttle the bike stalls.
So far I have: Cleaned the carbs and synced them, replaced the rubber boots and float bowl gaskets. When I spray carb cleaner on the front left diaphragm revs pick up but Is this because the snorkel is sucking it in?
Stuck now on what could be causing this which leads me to ask the question is this normal, does the bike just need to warm up?

I stumbled across that post before and I have done everything said in the post apart from drilling holes in the diaphragm and adding an extra washer to the needle.
I'll try drilling the holes and adjusting the fuel screw to stock settings and see how that plays out.
Problem is I won't be licensed to ride the bike until July, guess I could take it around the block..

Drill holes in diaphragms you mean slides surely ?
As said if not up to temp might need a run first or dyno run to highlight any fuelling issues . or could be charging system related ?

ride the bike first after you get a licence and see how it rides.
all of the mods in the carb guide are for improving a good running set of carbs, they wont fix any underlying problems and you might just makes things worse.
find out if you have a problem first.

Revs hanging at 3k now, here's how she's running: https://youtu.be/syMCKTshJuU
Noticed my clamps are a bit bent up and not fitting the inlet rubbers perfectly, can you buy these new anywhere? Tried making them straight by hand but there still not lining up perfectly.

Your carbs need syncing, and there may be an air leak, even more since you said the inlet rubber dont fit perfectly.

Carbs have been synced. Just had the clamps of and fitted them on the rubbers off bike and you can clearly see they are not fitting correctly, causing an air leak.
Dles anyone know where I can find a replacement for these clamps? Was looking at trying these out: http://www.a2stainless.co.uk/Tridon-Hos ... AKRSO.aspx
