Hi all,
I have a 1987 FZR400 SP.
Does anybody know the correct gas pressure for the rear shock reservoir?
Thanks

Re: GAS PRESSURE
they suggested about 200psi, but when you check similar bikes it might be less. Honda's VFR400 manual states 142psi

Re: GAS PRESSURE
Try somebody else if you don't trust them.
How about looking for a similar unit on a Yamaha - maybe OW01 and the YZF750 SP. Honda might use a different suspension manufacturer for their shocks and so have a different pressure.

Re: GAS PRESSURE
I have the workshop supplement for that model.
There does not appear to be a pressure listed for the remote.
(Mind the manual is very hard to decipher unless one can read Japanese $%*~#>< characters.)

They are really high, My friend used to rebuild them and always used to put about 200 in everything!
