My 3tj Rebuild
This thread is to document my 3tj engine rebuild.
I have got hold of some good condition crankcases which have piston and crank damage, the plan is to transfer my engine components, crank, barrels, head into these cases because my clutch bearing collapsed damaging the bearing seat.

Here are the new crankcases ready to be cleaned.



They were fairly manky but they are cleaned and split now, more pictures to follow.

I used petrol on a rag to get the head / base gasket remnants off - the black sealant stuff from the gaskets
