carbs will not balance!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi,
When bike was warm idle was a bit rough so decided to buy a carbtune and balance them. First i stripped them and ultrasonic cleaned them. New seal kit from rick new plugs and even checked valve clearances, which were all ok. Built carbs up and set them on the bench like i have seen mentioned by setting marster carb with idel scew so the first small hole is just visible then worked my way arround them all. Put them on the bike and hey presto bike fired up straight away and once warm idle was better, and better throttle responce. Looked at carbtune balancer and all carbs were close except marster carb (no 2) it was a lot lower than the rest so I balanced that to no 4, not too much fuss but engine speed went up and back two carbs went right up on balancer then engine speed went up even more and then no matter what i adjust it gets worse and worse untill engine speeds up that much i have to turn it off. I have taken them off 4 times now to reset on bench but same problem every time. Any one any ideas? Am i doing something really stupid? Way i feel it will be free to a good home cos im sick to back teath

Re: carbs will not balance!!!!!!!!!!!
did you start with pilot screws set at the correct turns out after you had cleaned the carbs, and have you got the idle set too high only need about 1500 to 1800, check that , when the bike revs too hard just try winding off the idle speed first and take it from there
