Indicator lens removal
Hi all, can someone advise me on how to change an indicator bulb? (ha, and I want to completely strip down and rebuild this bike eventually!!
). just bought this mudguard and indicators from a breaker and all the screws and nuts are completely seized and rusted. none of them will budge - tried penetrating oil but no joy. I tried a small screwdriver in the cut-out on the lens but it feels like something will crack. any help much appreciated!

Re: Indicator lens removal
At a guess I'd say that cut out is a drain hole in case water gets into the indicator, so don't poke it lol.
It's probably going in heavy handed but you might have to drill the head it the small screw on the left hand side of the top picture.
Or if you can get the whole unit off the under tray just replace them with eBay copies for under £20.

managed to get them off the undertray but the screws on the indicators themselves are completely seized up so ebay copies ordered unfortunately. oh well.
