nc30 clutch cable routing

Post by richyrd5 » Tue Feb 23, 2016 9:41 pm

Is there a schematic for cable routing?I've tried the search but nothing..i do remember seeing one?does it go up the left side(same as speedo)then through yoke..or does it go across engine and out up the right?also I ve 2 different length cables one being much longer...the red one which came on bike is shorter and comes up the left and out to lever mount

There is one in the honda workshop manual which I can scan or email you tomorrow. I also think the manual is available on carlsalter.com as I have the download on my pc .
The clutch cable passes cross the steering stem and through the nosecone mount bracket on the left hand side of the bike as viewed when sat on the bike and down to the clutch mechanism . I have been supplied different pattern lenght cables on occassion but always revert back to genuine .
