gk71f charging light
started my bike today, my charging light stayed on,,still getting good voltage to battery? wtf, any ideas guys???

I'm not too familiar with the 71, never knew they had a charging light.

What colour is the light mate.
You don't mean the red oil pressure light do you!
If the oil pressure lights not going out when you start the engine then don't run it till you figure out why its on as if the oil pump is fcuk'd then you going screw the motor.
Like I said not sure what lights its got at the dash so not clear on what you are saying.
If it is the oil light first thing to check is oil level and then there's no water behind the rubber sender boot,
after that its pressure check the motor and check the sender.

hi guys! just been out and checked over bike again,what a feckin numpty,,put my glasses on and could just read logo under light,,..[side stand] not been working on this bike since march this year and forgot all about it!! sorry for wasting your time guys, still laughing yet!!!! have a kawasaki zx6r with a ignition light which made me think the gixer was the same,well thats my excuse..ha ha.Variablevalves suck wrote:What colour is the light mate.

They don't make them like they use to, you don't get stand lights anymore.
