NC35 Odometer Stopped Working
Hi Guys,
Just bought a NC35 and realised the odometer isn't working. The tripmeter and the white digits next to the main black digits on the odo is still ticking but it won't tick over from 15999 to 16000. Is it just stuck there or is something broken in there.
Can I just take it apart and just push the 9 over to 0 and hopefully all is well again?
Cheers
Mike

Re: NC35 Odometer Stopped Working
sounds like its been messed with, this is common if you alter the milage, the gears don't line up properly anymore and it doesn't rotate the numbers.
it could of course be something broken but its not common.
the most often thing to break is the actual speedo drive, but if this happens it is at the sprocket end and the speedo needle stops moving all together. I think you don't have this problem.
guess you will have to take it apart and inpect it but its certainly not a common issue

Re: NC35 Odometer Stopped Working
Given that it's trying to push a number of the digits round it could just be a bit of stiction. Nudging it over to 16000 might get you another 999 km out of it.

Yep, pushed it over to 16000 and it's working fine. Let's see what happens at 16999
