Indicating very temperamental

Post by vfr400iow »

My NC30 has decided to only indicate when it feels like it apparently as sometimes when i press it, it will work straight away and others it just wont work at all even after having pressed it bout 10 times anyway this makes me think that its the switch itself thats gone so i was just wondering if anyone knew where to get hold of a complete left hand switch gear for an NC30, cheers for any help guys

take the switchgear apart and give it a little clean and see if it makes any difference.....

same happened with mine and this solved the problem.

Give it a good clean by freshening up the switch contact areas, carefully eliminate all of the grease and gunk in there, and use lots of electrical contact spray.

I had the same problem and just quirted some WD40 into the switch and it seems to have done the trick. The switch had totally stopped working, touch wood its fine now. Gonna strip it apart and clean properly while its off the road for winter.
