Fork colours
Hi all,
My nc30 has dark grey (Gun metal) coloured forks, iv seen colour combos like silver forks with gold calipers and disks, black forks with black discs and dark coloured calipers etc in the section about colour codes but havnt seen any mention of gun metal grey. Iv seen plenty of pics with the gun metal though on the Internet.
Was this a factory colour and if so anyone know the code and secondly any one know the actual colour for the calipers?

Re: Fork colours
i think all the forks were silver from the factory. i got mine powdercoated black so the brake dust was less obvious, maybe that's why they've been coloured gunmetal?
think the standard colour for calipers were gold also.

Re: Fork colours
UK forks were silver,
Imports were a very simular colour to the engine just a bit darker.
UK calipers were i think anodised black not paint.

Re: Fork colours
All UK NC30s and 1989 Japanese `K` models had Silver fork sliders (NH236M Sparklefrost Silver Metallic), all later J-spec bikes had sliders of that slightly bronze tinted gunmetal grey colour (YR147 Max Brown Metallic).
All UK-spec NC30s had black calipers, Japanese `K` models had gold calipers, from the `L` model on they were black except for the very last (Type 8) red/white/blue model which went back to gold.
