NC31 Swingarm dimensions and axle widths.

Post by Gidanski »

I was just wondering if anyone had the swingarm dimensions and width of the front axle and associated offsets of the NC31. I am trying to swap some 2000 model CBR600 wheels onto my bike and need the wheel offsets and spacer widths of the stock front and rear wheels.

From what I can tell the swingarm is 255mm in width when empty but that's all I have so far. I already have upgraded fork internals so not really wanting to swap those or the triple clamps as there would be a lot of messing about with instrument clusters and headlight/indicator brackets.

I have my swingarm and wheels all loose at the moment so can provide whatever measurements you require - just haven't quite understood what you are wanting exactly from your post...

I wanna know if the wheel needs to centered in the swingarm and if not what the offset is, and how wide the inner measurement is between where the wheel goes is.

I have a set of rims coming for it soon (5.5 inch rear) and need to know the offsets before I get started as its a commuter and I dont have my swingarm stand at the moment.

the swing arm inner measurement at the rear (mine at least) is 254.5mm. in between the adjustment blocks is 264mm. from memory i can't remember whether the rear wheel spacers sit against the swing arm or the adjustment blocks.
