Hi guys is if safe to run without a sub air filter, took my old one out as was fudged but seems alot of effort for a £2 piece of sponge. I heard u can use a scouring pad cut to size, will this work or can i just run without

Re: Sub filter
its over-engineered as many bikes dont run with them at all. but this filter will make your carbs last theoretically longer.
its not a lot of effort to replace though , 2 pounds and remove airbox cover...
hardly like changing the bearing shells.
