"Will it fit?" - Nc24/nc21/vf400f/vf750 engine

Post by enrosabil »

Ive been looking for a good engine for my poor old nc24 for almost 2 years now, but found nothing.
So now i wonder - Will a NC21 engine fit the NC24? Or will even a VF750/vfr750 engine fit?
Of course, anything will fit, as long as you build new engine mounts or modify the frame, but, i would like to know if it would fit in the "put the engine in there, thighten the bolts and press play"-way. Since the nc24 never was brought to Sweden, but the nc21 and the 750´s was, it would make the whole thing of finding a new engine a lot easier.

nc24 and nc21 were only ever sold in Japan, any biek you have in Sweeden will be an import.

NC24 engine will bolt straight in but you will need to do some wiring loom mods or install the nc24 wiring loom / ignition box as the nc24 has no cam sensor like the nc21. easier to install nc21 engine in nc24..
