gk76 carb refurb kit

Post by jamestaylor92 »

I can imagine this topic has gone over a thousand times but my search revealed nothing. My bike pulls through the rev range fine however if Im stationary and rev the engine the revs drop , stick around 4k for a fair few seconds and sometimes cutting out , ive come to the desicion its the o rings *shock*.
What i want to Know is there a place i can buy a complete carb refurb kit?
Note it isn't an SP model

If you buy & fit both of Blair's LiteTek GK76 seal & gasket kits that should eliminate the vast majority of running issues.
The problem with buying a different set of old carb's is that you can end up with similar problems due to ageing / dried out Nitrile seals & gaskets & worn needle's & needle jet's.

If you haven't bought the two LiteTek kits yet, DO IT. I did & they made a big improvement to how my GK76 now runs, especially below 4,000 rpm. Mine is still not perfect, but, new OEM needles & needle jets I've ordered should sort that out once & for all. ( I ordered the needles through my local Suzuki dealership & the stock Mikuni 643 Series O-5 needle jets I ordered from NRP carb's in Manchester, U.K. as they are "No Longer Available" from Suzuki ).

Under a gooseberry bush ?

Most would either source used parts from breakers or new parts from a dealer if still available though.........
one gets prickled less .!

If you mean the caps for the top of the slides;
13502-33C00.
They are NLA but were also fitted to carbs on 1994-96 Suzuki RF600R and RT models which enlarges the search for used parts advantage only slightly.

If not smashed to pieces and many bits missing they may be repaired using a product called Q bond.

Hold the bus; They MAY be obtainable on back order...../

Also a ghost thread resurrection;
viewtopic.php?t=47606&p=344279.

Ebay here;

..Cheap enough ?

Damaged but could be repaired; Ad says undamaged but blurred pic looks like damage at mount in bottom ?
