Thermostat sensor and fan switch sealant

Post by Swingarm »

Hey guys

I am overhauling the thermostat and radiators and have removed the sensor and fan switch

The Haynes advice is to use sealant when reinstalling these items

Does anyone have a recommendation for sealant? Would plumber's PTFE do the job?

Any help appreciated

Thanks
