starting with key / without key ignition on?

Came accross by accident, a plug disconnected in bike loom, not saying where it is, bike thieving scum, but when connected, a switch that is normally used for something else, will turn ignition on and off, then start as normal, push button.

That said switch will kill ignition too?

Anyone else ever come across this? Useful as i can steal my own bike, or at least get it started. Should l ever loose key, the steering lock, and disk lock would be another days work, em........ l had to wheelie officer......

Disconnected plug, back to key as normal for now, maybe its a race thing?
