Fairing kit for NC29 Type 2

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has bought and fitted a Chinese fairing kit for a type 2 NC29? http://i47.tinypic.com/34pgzh3.jpg

All of the ones i have found on the web are wrong, they look to have decals missing and logo colours are wrong... Anyone know where to go for one thats spot on? Would love to see pics of one if anyone has one fitted?

Im also considering the 2001 fireblade in red/black.

Recommendations for who to use would be great!

I have never liked that colour - too bland and grey for me!

Type 7 or 8 are my favourites ( mines sprayed as an 8 )

I like all OEM colours for the 29 but prefer type 7 or 8 also.

How about asking the fairing manufacturer to just paint the fairings and buy decal sets from Imageworks.

I am pretty torn between a few to be honest, I do like type 7 and 8 a lot and I was set on a 7 for a while. Then I changed it to the yellow and blue rossi rep and then I thought i should probably go back to what it was out the factory (type 2). Its a tough decision especially having never seen another nc29 in the flesh and the fairings on mine are all broken and tatty.

I still quite like this one but not sure if Red is a bit in your face for my liking:

I have been looking for a good place to buy decals so will check out Imageworks.

Mine is a type 1 now sprayed as a type 8.

The black paint is not available anymore ( banned under EU law ) according to my local spray shop.

I elected for Ford Puma Black, which has a slight sparkle to it.

That does look very nice! Oh decisions decisions... I am swaying to type 7 and 8 now but cant decide which i like most. I really need to see some in the flesh, anyone know of any meets happening in East Anglia?

So ive bitten the bullet and ordered a chinese fairing kit, went for type 7 in the end from neverland-motor, I have had to request a few changes to try and get it spot on with the original so we will see how it turns out when it gets here. Im also on the lookout for a type 7 petrol tank now as mine has got a bit of rot inside :/debating a POR 15 treatment to fix it, anyone tried that before?

Ive been trying to negotiate with him for the last couple of weeks now, hopefully i'll get first refusal if he does decide to split. Ive managed to get a tank cover included with my Chinese kit (worth it for an extra £30)... Its looking like i might be doing a POR-15 treatment and respray of my current tank unless this guy sells me his.
