Hi,
Please, can anybody explain, how I can remove the starter clutch and the starter clutch gear from the crankshaft?

With a 3 bolt puller.
Page 69 of the SP service manual available in the documents section. (very poor copy)
or
Page 105 of the service manual for the 600, which is virtually an identical engine to the 400.
Scroll to bottom of page and right click on pdf file - save as etc (poor copy)

The gears almost fall out once you take the cover off. You might need to heat the starter clutch to get it off.
Weld up the oil feed hole and take off any excess.
