FZR400 fork seals
I have an E reg import with a 1wg engine and 3EN body, i'm currently a little confused as to what fork seals i'm needing, and wondering if there's any size difference between the two models? This is all new to me as its my first "project" any advice would be most welcomed!

Most likely 38mm dia. forks..... other option is 41mm
Measure stanchion.

I'd say 38mm dia
The 41mm were on the 1989 3en2, that front end has clip-ons below a flat top yoke. Earlier models have clip-ons above a cranked top yoke
Get yourself a digital caliper one of those tools you have for years

Re: FZR400 fork seals
definitely measure them. I just fitted the larger 41mm 3en2 front end onto my older model FZR myself as the forks got bent last year. So its possible they could be either.

Bigger diameter forks will have less flex

Re: FZR400 fork seals
Thanks all, i think i've got the sizes, unfortunately i can't measure them with the front end off as it's in my mates workshop with limited space so i'm going to order the 38 x 50 x 8/9.5 and hopefully see if that's right
