The original uses a V piece and Chinese copies generally have this part in their kits., original V pieces are around £100 if you can still get them in your colours.

Thanks DD. The kit from China came minus the V piece noted on most NC29 a V piece was fitted. So on the lookout for a one.

I've been umming and arring about ti for ages!

Was the fit ok for the rest the panels on the bike?
The paint and decals ok?

Happy new year to you aswell mate
Yes everything went together ok only piece that took a bit pf lining up was the small piece that holds the lock for the rear seat , but it lined up ok in the end decals etc were perfect ,and if like mine you need stripes for the tank if you ask the seller they will include some .
As for pictures mate i wouldnt know how to put them on lol bit of you get the august 2013 issue of classic motorcycle mechanics magazine thats my actual bike
Hope this helps regards keith

in a bike mag? cool! I may have that one somewhere 8)

hhmmm.... yes I can imagine how the rear key panel would be the one that would be a pain to line everything up!

Just plain gloss black. 8)

Not sure if would work, but could then replace panel by panel easier.

Do people store away their oem ones, in what ever condition, and use eBay ones for everyday use and abuse?!

Cheers
Martin
