Coolant pipes

Post by redbandit12 »

Can anyone tell me if you have to buy genuine Yamaha O rings for the coolant pipes at the back of the engine or are they a readily available standard size. Two look okay but the smaller two are cracking.
Cheers

You can probably still buy them from Yamaha for not too much money.

You could measure them and buy them loose

If you don't have one a digital vernier can be had for a tenner from Maplins, invaluable tool.

Cheers, they are still readily available from Yamaha as they are used on loads of other models. Cheap as chips

A box of generic O rings of various sizes should be in any self respecting motorcyclists garage.

I think they cost the princely sum of £10.
A red box doth not a Snap On make.
