What are you struggling with?

BT45 130/70/18 is avaible no trouble.

You can even put a 150/60/18 BT90 on that stock rim if you want to.. its a bit small but within the specifications...

What are you wanting to get / do?

Not to sound condescending but have you tried a set of BT45?s

With stock size 45s you can easily scrape the pegs and ride plenty fast enough for the road. I always found the forks and brakes gave out before the tyres.

Especially if your on a budget Bt90s etc are a waste of money, they will wear out way quicker so youll have to buy 2 sets for the time you can use one set of bt45s.

Its an old bike so just relax and enjoy it for what it is :D my 24 is almost stock and i can still outride many people on newer bikes just becuase its easier to control.

If your on a real budet check out somewhere like blackcircles.com you can get an avon roadrider for about 60 quid.

pirelli alos make a decent radial tyre sport demon in appropriate sizes.

pays to shop around

if you still have tread in the front and the tyre isnt super old just get a bt45 for the rear for now.

with any old grey bike youll find it costs an arm and a leg before you get to the point that the bike is good enough to ride off the stock tyres..

save your money for now for other things
