Fuel tap kit degradation

Hi all,
I bought new fuel tap kit (NC21 1987) few years ago after some reading on this message board. Recently I've noticed that the tap is leaking fuel so i took it apart and noticed that there is a small hole in the rubber. I think it might have been caused by shi**y EU fuel that contains some Bio additives. I had problems with fuel in the past because the bike is not running that ofter and after each winter i have to drain the carbs. I can tell the fuel has gone bad just by smelling it. The fuel tap kit was around 20GBP not including the shipping fee so the question is where can I find a tap kit that will be resistant to ethanol or whatever chemical they put in the fuel. Also do you think that shell v-power hight octane fuel will not degrade as much as the "regular" natural 95?

high octane fuels often have more ethanol in them as it increases the octane cheaper.

id stick with regular unleaded.

I dont know anybody doing a tap kit at the moment.

LiteTek on here makes many replacement carb gaskets in ethanol resistant Viton rubber.
