Re: petrol tank
You don't see them coming up very often on ebay so I guess they must be rare!
Try a Japanese breaker:
http://ilovemotor.jp/shop/goods/search. ... cb400+nc31
On the link page you'll find 5 petrol tanks, if not browse some of the other pages. Yen is expensive atm though.

Re: petrol tank
Mansie, they're CB400SF tanks rather than CB1-400.
I changed the search parameters and there's one here:
http://ilovemotor.jp/shop/goods/search. ... eyword=cb1
and a bunch of other stuff on pages 1 and 2.

Re: petrol tank
Yeah you're right, sorry.
The I love motor tank that does come up for the CB-1 400 has a dent in it and it looks like a costly repair. You can always email them for information on possible other items not on the web.
Here's one in New Zealand: http://www.gphonda.co.nz/cart.php?targe ... ory_id=259
There is also some network of British breakers, you just have to tell them what you want and they search the inventory of all breakers for you.
Cheers, Mansie

Re: petrol tank
I get tanks from Japan now and again, they go cheap enough, (although you'll be lucky to find one without any dents whatsoever), trouble is post is a bit prohibitive mind
